You do not need to notify your current long distance provider that you’re leaving- we inform your local phone company that you want to switch to Netfox and your old provider will automatically stop billing you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I see a disruption in my long distance service during the changeover?

In 99.9% of cases, no. But the fine people at the phone company are only human and occasionally mistakes can be made. We work with them closely so to minimize downtime and work to provide alternate means of making long distance calls should there be a disruption in your service.

Do I need to notify my current Long Distance Provider that I’m leaving?

No, and in fact it’s better if you don’t. If your current long distance carrier thinks you’re leaving cancelling you may lose our service before we can get it moved. You could be without long distance service until we can get our order processed. When you submit your order, we send a request to your local phone provider to change your long distance service to Netfox. Your local phone provider will then notify your old long distance carrier for you.

Once your service is switched Netfox is now your dedicated long distance provider and all calls placed through your line automatically qualify for your best rates!
